ICO Islamic Studies Teacher’s Manual: Grade 4, Part 1
This level focuses on showing the greatness of Allah in his creation and the importance of performing all actions with excellence. Quran lessons improve memorization, recitation and interpretation of Surah an-Naba’ at al-Inshiqaq.
Students are introduced to the history of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The section acts of worship includes the hours of worship, the importance of worship in the congregation and the reward for the maintenance of mosques and the protection of public property. The level concludes with lessons on the importance of honoring parents and showing kindness to neighbors and others.
The Teacher’s Manual contains for teaching each lesson, suggested teaching practices, and solutions to the exercises and activities found in the student textbook and activity book.
This series is designed for teaching Islamic culture to young Muslims in non-Arabic speaking countries and International Schools. The series aims to enable students to identify the foundations, principles and rules of the religion of Islam by building a strong knowledge base to enable them to maintain their faith and identity, and interact with others.
The curricula considered the needs of the target groups, environments in which they reside and educational policies used in the target countries.
