Are those wolves or werewolves howling in the mountains surrounding Bear Paw Valley? When Mr. Barnell’s science class goes on a camping trip to a place with a dark legend, strange things begin to happen. Will the third grade detectives Ibrahim and Zayn Khan be able to figure out what’s going on before it’s too late?
“Are you listening to me?” asked Zayn irritably. “We could all be eaten before the end of this trip and all you can do is look at purple birds that are not even purple!”
“First of all werewolves don’t eat you, they just bite you and then you become a werewolf yourself,” said Ibrahim. “Secondly, they’re not real!”
“Ya Allah!” Zayn shouted. “You’re right! Some of the kids could have been bitten last night and will turn into werewolves tomorrow!”
