This dictionary is an important doorway to a large field of information: that of the heritage of the Arab and Spanish cultures. It is a helpful resource for a wide range of audiences – professors, students, secretaries and travellers.
Small in size, yet vast in content, this dictionary includes the most commonly used words in Arabic and their translations into Spanish. It even includes specialized terms, such as those in the scientific, artistic and literary fields. It also contains most regular and irregular verbs.

The author of this dictionary collected the Arabic material from The Arab Tongue by Ibn Manthour and the Inclusive Dictionary by Fairwz Abady; the Spanish material was gathered from Federico Corriente Dictionary using the same symbols, abbreviations and signs as in that resource. This Spanish-Arabic dictionary contains about 18, 500 common words.
